What happens to your information

What the application form collects

When you fill in the form at the bottom of the home page and press send, this is what reaches me:

• Your name and your business — so I know who is applying.
• Your WhatsApp number — the only way I reply.
• Your Instagram handle, if you add it. Optional.
• What you sell or do — the option you tap.
• Anything else you write in the last box. Optional.

The server adds two things you don't type: the date and time, and your IP address — the number your internet connection shows to every website you open. I keep it so I can tell a real application from an automated one.

If you arrived through a link one of my clients shared — an address ending in ?ref=… — the site remembers that one word in your browser for 30 days so I know who sent you, and adds it to your application. It stays in your browser and it is not a cookie; nothing else about your visit is stored there.

Where it goes

• Into one file on the server that runs this site. It is not published, it is not in the public code of the site, it is not in any mailing-list tool, and it is never sold or handed to anyone.
• A copy is forwarded straight to my phone the second it arrives, so an application never sits unread.
• Every night an encrypted copy is stored away from this server, so applications survive if the server dies. Encrypted means unreadable without the key, and I'm the only one who has it.

Who reads it

Me. One person. Nobody else has an account on that server, and the page that lists applications is behind a password.

What I use it for

To read your application, reply yes or no with a reason, and — if it's a yes — talk about building your site. That's all. No newsletter, no advertising, no passing your number to anyone, no messages about anything you didn't ask about.

How long I keep it

Applications stay while the founding offer is running and while there's still a chance we work together. If you become a client, your details stay for as long as you're a client. If you ask me to delete them, they go — whenever you ask.

Deleting it, or seeing what I have

Email hello@wellbuilt.tech or send a message to @wellbuilt.tech on Instagram. Tell me which business you applied with and what you want: a copy of what I hold, a correction, or deletion. I do it by hand and write back to say it's done.

Counting visitors

I count visits with a small counter that runs on my own server. Not Google Analytics, not Meta, nothing that follows you to other websites.

It sets no cookies. It records which page was opened, roughly which country it was opened from, and what browser and screen size — the same numbers a shop owner gets from counting people at the door. It isn't enough to know who you are.

It's the same dashboard my clients get for their own site.

What this page loads

Everything on this page — the words, the pictures, the fonts — is served from my own server. Your visit doesn't talk to Google, Meta, or an ad network.

No outside company gets a request from this page, and it sets no cookies of its own.

If this page changes

I update it here and change the date at the top. Nothing here is retroactive on details you already sent me.
